This place was the bomb! and I am picky when it comes to peruvian food. Our waiter Francisco recommended I try Al Mar... so glad he did because it was really good. the ceviche with leche de tigre was excellent. fish tasted fresh. arroz con mariscos and salsa criolla wow very tasty. the jalea was perfect. only thing I wish more variety of seafood on the jalea. I also had picarones they were amazing! large size and they do not cheat you on the miel. love my meal I would totally go back if I lived around here.

Christian is great! He is always so personable and remembers us even though we only visit once in awhile now since we moved to Colorado! We always get the fried calamari as a starter as well as the pollo saltado and tallarin verde con bistec and it hits the spot every time. Portions are great size, we never finish our entrees so we get to have some more for dinner. there is a lot of space in there but they do get real busy at times! If you happen to blessed enough to have Christian as your server tell him Becca from Colorado said hello!

Small intimate location with a traditional Peruvian feel. The staff can be a little more attentive, especially upon entering however, once you are seated, the service is very good. The food is traditional, Peruvian food with a menu filled with lots of seafood dishes. However, there's a nice selection of chicken and steak dishes to select from.... The food is always well-made and comes out fresh. Sitting at the bar or at a table doesn't matter. The service is still the same. Highly recommended if you have no plans for dinner and you're in the area take a chance and you won't be disappointed.

Aji Limon is located in Buena Park and it's one of those places that is hidden. Overall the location is pretty SUS because there is a lot of transient activity ! When you come in the service is super nice you are greeted with the most helpful servers ! Overall the food is pretty tasty I have been there multiple times and you can taste the quality. The price point is somewhat medium to high but your paying for what you get overall if your around the area check them out

I love Peruvian food - my usual go to is the lomo saltado, but went with the current special on the saltado de pollo since it would come with a free soup, salad, or side dish. The dish was great. Good flavor, great portions. Came on a Tuesday at 12pm with some coworkers, and there was no wait; almost empty restaurant. Server was friendly, and attentive. Would make it a great lunch spot if the dish was a bit more affordable.. this was one of the cheaper dishes and came out to more than $20 after tip and tax.

This place has some great food. It has authentic Peruvian cuisine and it's located near knott's berry farm. They have a variety of dishes and drinks to choose from including Saltado, tallarín and chicha morada. They also have picarones (a Peruvian donut shaped dessert which is made from sweet potatoes) which are a rare thing to find in this state. Their service is great and the waiters are friendly as well. In fact the server that served me was a helpful and friendly gentleman. Thank you for your service.

A very tasty hole in the wall. We were looking for something casual and found this restaurant in Buena Park. Lots of parking. They were pretty understaffed but had a decent amount of customers. It was about a 15 minute wait on a Monday evening. Our server Geordan was very nice and checked on us even though he was super busy. I ordered the lomo saltado which was a skirt steak stir fry with rice, tomatoes, french fries and onions. Well seasoned and good sized portion. My brother also enjoyed their fried rice special. Their juice is okay but the platanos were good. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for a casual dine out.
